I really did not do well at updating this blog... To recap since my last post, a lot has happened since then. Jonathan made it through his first semester of school! It was wonderful that although he had to study A WHOLE LOT, we still had more time to spend together than at anytime in our marriage... What a blessing!
I have gotten situated in my job here is Houston... Although it is the same job, the two counties are very different, but still loving what I am doing!
We have spent time doing things around Houston: went to the San Jacinto monument and the Battleship Texas. We also went to a UofH football game, but they lost... :(
Jonathan jumped out of an airplane, but thank God for parachutes... I was so nervous... and he already purchased his next jump. Hopefully, I won't get so nervous next time.
Although we are far from home, I feel like we see our family together more than we did before. We have put several thousand miles on each car driving home and back.
Although I miss our family and love being home, we do not have as many events to come home for this semester... and I am looking forward to spending more time in Houston than our weekends driving in the car.
Hopefully with this update, it will remind me again to post more often. We shall see....
