First Day of School...

Jonathan and I have been in Houston (off and on due to work obligations in Dallas) for almost one month. We have pretty much unpacked everything and made our house into a home. I am feeling more and more confident at work everyday. There are many differences between the Houston and Dallas court systems, but I am slowly shifting gears to the Houston side of things.

Emily was able to come and spend the past few days here with us as she had an audit here in Houston. It was wonderful to have some good sister time. We had a nice dinner to celebrate on Friday night, and got pedicures together on Saturday.

Two of the many things that I have been excited about as a result of Jonathan not having to work all the time is: eating dinner together and finding a church home. We have probably made dinner together more times in the last few weeks than we have in our two and a half years of marriage... This can be a good thing or a bad thing because Jonathan is a wonderful cook! We have a plan though to work out everyday in the morning at the school gym (we are going to get our moneys' worth from this school!!!)
We have only visited one church, but it is a good option. We will probably visit there one more time and then try some of the other's on our list just to make sure as we are not 100% sure that it is the one. But we definitely like it!. Going to church together has never been possible in our marriage because Jonathan worked every Sunday. It is exciting to me that we can now continue to honor our vows in searching for a church home together!

And now to talk about the subject of this post, Jonathan started Law School today. I cannot begin to describe how much we have prayed for and worked to get to this day!!!! It is a blessing to know that everything that has happened over the past two years that appeared as struggles all led us to this day and time in our life! Continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue on this journey!

Stay tuned for the next adventure in our Houston journey!!!
